What Katy Did by Susan Coolidge
I actually read this on my Nintendo DS because I got the 100 Book Collection.
I ended up choosing this one first following the random questions it gave me from the "book finder"; the choice was this one, Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass (both of which I have read).
I thought it was actually quite a good book - I loved the way that through most of the story, Katy was supposed to be the responsible one as she was the oldest, but ended up being the ringleader in all the trouble - a bit like a female version of what I was sometimes like as a kid. Then, after she falls off the swing, everything changes, and she can't walk and she ends up being less of a tomboy and actually helps the others out.
I have now read 21 of the 30 books I need to read for my 101 tasks.
