Doctor Who: Journey's End

I <3 Jack/Martha/Mickey - can't you just tell those two will be in series 3 of Torchwood? I can't wait!

Was really sad about Rose and Donna, though - I got the impression Rose wasn't completely happy with the substitute Doctor, then I felt angry that Russell T. Davies had the doctor and Donna running out on Rose like that - I wanted to yell at the screen: "HUG HER! HUG HER!" (I really hate it when people don't get a proper goodbye). I was sad about the way they left Donna, but glad they didn't kill her - I'd hoped that guy from "Forest of the Dead" would make a reappearance.

Another bit I loved - Gwen hinting that her "alter ego" from the Dickens episode was her ancestor - I love the in jokes like that (kind of like Spike/Cecily on Buffy!).

And that confrontation with Davros was neat, and I loved when the Doctor tried to save Davros, too. Sarah Jane and K-9 were awesome too.

I was hoping for an ending that would lead into the Christmas special, though - like they did at the end of Series 2 and 3. I wonder who the next assistant will be, too - I've thought of some characters I'd like to see...

- The Doctor's Daughter - since she didn't actually die
- One of the previous assistants returning (like they did with Sarah Jane) - how about Ace (from the Sylvester McCoy years)? I liked Peri (from some of the Peter Davison/Colin Baker episodes), but I have no idea what became of her or if she survived.
- River Song becoming the Doctor's assistant; she has to reappar at some point (I can actually see this one happening).
