Pigeons

We had pigeons in the landing at the flats today; they must have got in through an open window and they couldn't get out - it was a bit shocking as they'd fly at the windows and smack their heads on them, probably giving themselves brain damage. The windows open vertically, so it's quite hard to open them so that a pigeon flying like mad at them will go through. So, my attempts to help the pigeons were somewhat half-hearted before I had to get to the station.

I will be careful how wide I open my windows now; luckily they are gone now, and there is no mess.
