Turning 39
I'm 39 today - it's a weird thought.
I had a day out in London today, though we'd barely got there when we saw a woman being escorted from the toilets by the police - not sure what was going on, though I suspect she may have been drunk.
Our day out involved Westminster Abbey and the Tate Britain; both were fun places to go (though the crowds in Westminster Abbey and all around are insane); the Tate had a room full of metronomes as part of a modern art exhibit - we could hear the ticking of all the metronomes before we saw them. We then had a walk along the embankment, which included walking through most of the gardens there and admiring London's skyline.
We ended up eating out in Belgo; they do some good food, and we got home late-ish.
I'm out again tomorrow, and I'm getting quite sleepy now. I must be getting old.
