I ended up watching almost all of the Brazil v Belgium game with my friends tonight - I almost left early but the issues with my trains meant that the one I was aiming for was late. This time it was trespassers on the track. As it happened, I managed to get a train that ran on time, but the automatic announcements were wrong because of them having the "wrong code".
It was an enjoyable match to watch with friends though, and Neymar is a cheat - that dive in the box at the end was shameless. The best moment was Kevin de Bruyne making it 2-0.
I've just started reading last year's Man Booker Prize winning novel, Lincoln in the Bardo by George Saunders. So far, it's predictably bizarre.
I think France will probably win, but will cheer Belgium against them on Tuesday.
