Two Writers
This evening was exciting.
I was at a talk by Graeme Simsion and his wife Anne Buist about the new book they've written, "Two Steps Forward", which is about two people on the Camaro trail in Spain, who seem to be based on themselves.
Graeme Simsion is someone I've heard of before because he wrote two books I enjoyed, The Rosie Project and The Rosie Effect; it was a good talk and q&a session, with some excerpts from the new book read, which I now have a signed copy of. I had someone behind me who kept digging me in the back for some reason, which is a major pet peeve of mine, because it makes me want to know precisely what they are doing that requires them to interfere with me.
I am looking forward to reading the book, when I get through everything else on my reading list.
