New Year Stuff
2017 has been quiet so far. I must mention the shocking ending to the latest Sherlock:

I can't see the next episode having any humour; Watson hates Holmes, and it might be difficult to reconcile them.
The "Go to Hell, Sherlock" post-credits could be taken more literally, as "Go to Hell and get Dr. Watson back" - maybe? Sort of like the Orpheus myth.
I have some concerns that mice/squirrels have been getting into my attic; it all started with my OCD about storing old crisp wrappers in there (just unusual or limited edition ones, not ALL of my litter - I'm not that bad). Finding some ripped to shreds suggested to me that something thought they might contain food.
There's also the apparent faecal smell in the attic - but someone is looking at it on Thursday.
I spent today doing some shopping in the sales; I'm back to work tomorrow.
