Some Things so surprising you just don't think they will happen
I was at the football yesterday; I chose a seat at random and suddenly five of the players showed up and sat in the seats in front of me. It was something I'd never seen before - it was just a lower league team, but still thrilling. I chatted to one of them in half time and this guy kept pestering them. He seemed a bit odd - stared at me like he thought I was a lunatic when I started talking to one of them.
I had kids behind me who kept scrambling over us all to get autographs.
It's something I won't forget though; unfortunately if I was watching a big club like Liverpool that wouldn't happen, however amazing it would be to have Steven Gerrard sat next to me - they would all go to the VIP area to avoid too much fan attention.
I've been hearing about the whole circumstances around the recent family bereavement; it was a heart attack, so quite sudden. It sounds like the whole family is helping out though.
I just had a nice meal out for a family birthday and I'm hungry again.
