Breaking Good

I passed my third degree black belt grading, which means I will be learning some new patterns soon and I'll feel less pressure as my next grading won't be for at least three years.

I also will have to do a thesis for the next grading, which is a tough prospect.

I broke two boards, and a brick, by using a side piercing kick. The kicking was unnerving, and waiting for my name to be called was scary - it always is when you're one of the last to have your name called out. The tension is the worst part.

There was a lad there who was 13 but we all thought he was at least four years older, as he was quite tall (and also very mature for his age).

The only drawback is having to miss my friend's birthday celebrations because of trying to take it easy this evening.

I've become somewhat addicted to Papa's Pizzeria (as I think it's called), which is all about running a pizza restaurant and cooking your pizzas/cutting them right.

birthdays, games, friends, life, takewon-do
