100 Words: The Intern
We have a new intern in the office; I met him for the first time on Tuesday evening; he’s very polite and likes to shake hands.
So, now every time we see each other, he’ll come up to me.
“Hi, Gavin”, he’ll say, and then shake my hand - firmy, the proper way.
We’ll usually have a brief conversation, about how he’s getting on, and then he’ll say he’s got to be somewhere or go back to work.
Then he’ll shake my hand again, telling me, “See you later”.
I think we’ve shook hands six times in the last three days.
