31 Day Blog Challenge, Day 8: What's in my Bag

Oct 13, 2013 11:19

And it's not a handbag, it's a "man bag" which I wear over my shoulder.

I'm going to talk about the bag I will be taking with me when I go out later:

*A copy of Carpe Jugulum by Terry Pratchett (current reading book)
*A map of the tube, which shows which carriages to get into on the trains to be nearest the exit
*A free book I got with the standard, London for Free (good when I'm in London and at a loose end)
*Some free paper that I bought to show someone at church who I've not seen in months
* An old newspaper cutting that probably doesn't need to be in there - I was showing people at church because it had a picture of the building where we used to meet
*A map I printed off Google maps - I was using it to find my way to a church a few weeks ago
*A bunch of fliers from my taekwon-do class
*A crumpled newspaper cutting about Amy Pond leaving Doctor Who, from when Karen Gillen announced she was leaving
*A letter received from my taekwon-do school about payments
*Another newspaper cutting with old pictures of famous sights in Britain
*An out of date Sainsburys voucher
*An e-mail I printed off over a year ago, probably with the intention of showing friends - it's about a bike sale
*A ticket to see James Corden in One Man, Two Guvnors (it was great fun to watch)
*A piece of paper with "questions" written on it, and nothing else
*A receipt from over a year ago fro when I bought a card for someone's wedding
*A letter about "The Kop" magazine dated April 2012
*A pocket sized "London for Free" guide
* A letter from, Fulham Football Club confirming that I had booked a tour of their ground with my mate
* A piece of paper with train times on it
*Some flier with pictures of cars on it
* A guide to jury service - I got it last year
*A couple of letters about summer camp

Goodness knows why some of them are there

a letter, books, things carried, about me challenge, 31 day blog challenge
