The Bank Holiday

I ended up having a full day out in London yesterday. The only problem was having to go half way there on the bus, which was a bit of a drag, and I got a bit nervous at first because the driver seemed to be going the wrong way.

The sun went away as I went into London and it seemed to be threatening to rain, but it didn't. I went to the South Bank but it was insanely crowded, and I'd decided to go to some sort of Spanish festival that was evidently being put on for Cinco de Mayo, and it was the most crowded part of all so I didn't stay long at all, and instead went and found somewhere to sit quietly and read.

After church today, there was a sudden decision to go to Nando's afterwards, though after waiting ages for everyone to be ready, we ended up heading off the the Hare and Tortoise, and then to Giraffe when we realised there was more space.

I had a good meal out, and the journey home wasn't quite as long - possibly because the train did not stop at every station this time around.
