The Election

On Thursday, I got my vote in - while I usually side with the Tories, I didn’t this time because our local candidate fathered a son who I hated at school; I just remembered him accusing me of not being able to read once, just because I walked past a sign that said: “Don’t use these stairs”; he walked out and started pointing and yelling at me - yeah, hated him.

I was sad that yet another of my work colleagues was leaving yesterday, but she got a good send off down the pub, and we had some good conversations, as well as looked at various cocktails that people had bought - there were some with flowers in for some reason.

I woke up today to find out that Boris is still Mayor of London - a guy I really can’t stand; he’s just too ridiculous for me to take seriously. When can the Tories get a sensible candidate?

Also, the Postman was late today; I wouldn’t normally complain but I spotted him chatting to his mate instead of actually delivering post; slacker! Also, one of my local food shops is gradually turning into a shop that sells anything but food, and I have to walk further into the shop to get to the grocery aisles - how stupid!

pet peeves, dislikes, after work, it isn't the same, politics, work, pubs, i don't believe it, childhood memories, people don't make sense, youth moment
