Mothers' Day
We went out for Mother’s Day today; we had a good meal out in John Lewis, although we were concerned at first because they said food was taking ages to come; it didn’t. We noticed a lady who we had seen on the TV in the restaurant; we eventually identified her as Camila Batmanghelidjh, who often appears on Question Time; she is quite recognisable because she wears colourful clothes, and a headscarf.
At church today they had a booksale, and I managed to get four books for £10, including CS Lewis’ The Screwtape Letters, which sounds really good, as well as other books on the subject of Christianity.
We are planning a holiday to Spain in September; I can’t wait - I last went there when I was six!
