Strange Dream

I had one of my recurring dreams last night, which involves The X-Files returning for a tenth season. I recall it definitely had Mulder, Scully and Doggett - but I’m not sure about Reyes, and I remember watching this great scene where Doggett was standing up for Scully.

The Season seemed to be a bit short, with just 16 episodes according to the episode guide I was reading, but it seemed pretty good and had all the old writers, but I remember waking up and thinking: “None of that was true” and feeling disappointed.

For some reason, I then kept dreaming that I wanted to check IMDB to check that there was no truth in this story, but I’d have no luck as IMDB was not doing a good job of searching for the X-Files, and I’d suddenly realise I was in the middle of a dream.

So, in this dream I was outside somewhere with the rest of the family using a PC. Of course, this did not seem strange to me, and while I went to IMDB, Mum started going on about a dream she had where Grandma had an American accent. I laughed at this, but suddenly Grandma walked in and started talking with an American accent, so suddenly I realised it was a dream.

I seemed to be sinking through some black hole and I found myself in my bed, thinking I was awake - but of course it was a dream still, and there was some bit about my sister organising a huge garden party with sort of doughnuts on skewers (or something). We seemed to have a big house, and then I heard this meowing sound and I looked up and saw Rosie; she started doing death defying leaps from rooftop to rooftop, clinging on by her paws at some points. Suddenly a tiger showed up and bit this one guy’s arm off, so then everyone ran, and the tiger was running behind us - strangely though, it ignored all of us and ran off up the street.

Then, animal control showed up and they wouldn’t listen when I tried to tell them where the tiger was, or that we needed an ambulance for the guy who lost his arm.

Weird stuff!
