Have almost, but not entirely, decided against the Gala.

Oh for fuck's sake. Just GO. I swear. Is everyone I know completely against doing anything out of the ordinary?

Vicious, much? Ah wait...it's you. ;)

It's actually not an issue of doing something out of the ordinary as much as just not convinced I'm feeling in the mood for it.

I assume you're going then?

Yes. Extremely.

Well get in the mood and go. Or go then get in the mood while you're there

Of course, I am. I never pass up a chance for new dresses. Don't think that doesn't play a big part in all the competitions I do.

Well maybe if I had a new dress I'd be more tempted to go...

On second thought, probably not.

And I still might. I'm not totally against the idea, just not planning on going with anyone, and I've heard a few too many dates mentioned and not nearly as many singles.

Nothing like being a 101st wheel.

You keep saying that and one day I'll get you in drag....Or at least eyeliner and some tights.

See, you can't be the 101st wheel because I'm going on my own. If you find it compeltely unbearable, we can be single together and keep each other entertained.

Haha, that might be more of a challenge than you think. I've got jokes, but I can't say I've ever really been tempted. ;)

And are you really? I would've thought you'd have been snatched up as soon as the announcement posted.

I'll put on Rocky Horror or something at the theater and beg you to audition when no one else does. We already know you can't resist my desperate need for a cast. ;)

Flattery will get you everywhere, darling.

Yeah, well, I might've shown my cards there. It's true, I have a soft spot for open roles.

I'll make a good note of that, but it's honest flattery this time. I'm genuinely surprised. You prefer to go alone to these events?

And I'll be keeping that in mind. Gives me some reason to appreciate you.

Both have their perks so I wouldn't say I prefer it. I'm just not going to bitch and moan and miss out because I don't have boys lining up to take me to some dance thing.

Nice to know I wouldn't be appreciated otherwise.

And still surprising, but a brilliant way to look at it. I usually have more fun with friends or solo myself, but a date's not a bad thing if it happens.

Guess I'll be getting ready for it, then.

I like to make sure everyone knows where they stand with me.

I'm glad it's surprising, but I usually have more fun that way, too. So that's all that really matters.

Brill. I knew you wouldn't be able to resist.
