Gavin and Maggie and Laney 2007
We stayed home, watched Pirates2 and made boatdrinks. Kissed at midnight, watched Ultraviolet, went to bed. Maggie made homemade pizzas for dinner.
Laney's becoming a teen at a scary rate. Wanders around with her new Shuffle, singing tunelessly. Sullen and sarcastic on occasion, no surprise.
This is the year I turn 40. Not a landmark of identity-crisis for me (I'd rather reach 40 than not...), but I do start thinking about Big Picture questions, esp. with recent contact with people from high school to throw *that* perspective into things.
Quiet days at home - the blizzards have been nice, giving me the excuse to retreat for a while...
