So I was at a party with a varied group of people...
I was at a (low alcohol consumption, mostly chatting/socializing) type of party with a lot of interesting people -- a bunch of furries, some goths, some alternative lifestyle folks, stuff like that, and I was wearing my vibram fivefingers

(I have the black KSO's, if you are wondering), and they were a HUGE, GIGANTIC hit. The moment people noticed them, EVERYONE wanted to talk about them. One person wanted to massage my toes (uhhh... okay..?), and I was constantly interrupted when I was trying to talk about them -- I was mostly saying things like, "lots of people want to be barefoot, it's an athletic thing, for health reasons, I just like them cause they are super comfortable without the normal shoe structures"... but I ended up having to tell people about the website, the only local place that sells them, the HOURS of the local place [it opened tomorrow at 12 pm], and I had to go get my netbook and open up the webpage so they could see the different options and the colors. When I got to the pink colors for the women's shoes, there was a chorus of "EEE!!" and "OH my god that's so cute!", and a bunch of people demanding that their significant others (or whatever) take them to get a pair as soon as the place opens up tomorrow. It was a MESS.. heehee...
Anyway, the only local store that carries them is

So maybe I should call them and say, "hey if you get a gaggle of funny looking people coming in at noon tomorrow, can I have a commission bonus?"
