I went on another Scarecrow Hunt this morning; I spotted a few.
The first house I saw just had cobwebs in the porch; it has been suggested it was something Charlotte's web-related, so if I'd looked harder, maybe I'd have seen a figure of Wilbur there too.
In one road I spotted a van with a plant/Slimer from Ghostbusters in the front seat, and a scarecrow based on Mr. McGregor from The Tale of Peter Rabbit (this was at least a traditional scarecrow).
The next one I saw looked like Rupert Bear being crucified; it was on a hedge, but was right next to a woman who was trying to get a child into her car, so I didn't try to get any closer just for the sake of social distancing.
I haven't taken any scarecrow pictures, but I did get a few others, including a nice view close to the end of my walk.
It's a "black lives matter" related tree.
Meanwhile, this man caused a stir by going shopping in his pants - it was all because of clothes suddenly being classed as non-essential items; a protest on his part, sort of like "If clothes aren't essential, I must be okay to dress like this in the shop".
I myself haven't bought any new clothes in a while, and insist on wearing the same old ones.
