Doctor Who: Eve of the Daleks

Great, easy-watching episode, and not too full of continuity.

[I AM NOT NICK Spoiler]
I don't think Yas being gay/bi was mentioned before, right? Her crush on the Doctor was a surprise to me.

I wonder if the Doctor is into women - after so many male incarnations, and crushes on Rose during the Tennant era/River Song during the Smith/Capaldi eras, one would expect her to still have a thing for the ladies.

The Doctor's "my actions are catching up on me" could be a hint towards the upcoming regeneration episode, but I'm assuming there is something we don't know about what she did while she was Jo Martin's fugitive Doctor - something she must have remembered in the previous epsiode, and probably the reason why the Judoon were after her.

The random guy shown near the end got unusual prominence - he's got to appear again, maybe he was the unseen "Jeff" who got mentioned a few times?

I think despite about eight (or nine?) deaths for Jodie Whittaker's Doctor in this episode, it won't beat the record number of deaths for a single incarnation of the Doctor - Peter Capaldi's died something like five billion times in "Heaven Sent" from series nine.

new year, jo martin, doctor who, new years eve, science fiction, lgbtq+, offed, shippers, david tennant, peter capaldi, matt smith, jodie whittaker, mystery
