This film fulfils 4th criteria for the November ohnotheydidnt film challenge, as it stars two actors from the Ghostbusters films; Sigourney Weaver from the original, and Kristen Wiig from the terrible reboot.

This is a hilarious film, in which Simon Pegg and Nick Frost play sci-fi nerds who encounter a real alien, who is on the run from the Men in Black. It's also the first (and I think only) film so far that they've co-written.

I'd forgotten a lot of what happens in this, and it was refreshing to watch again, with all of the usual pop culture references that I expect from anything that Simon Pegg and Nick Frost are in, and my only real gripe about this is the approach to religion. It seems that everyone involved in the film thinks that you can't be Christian and believe in evolution/science, which annoyed me as much as the redneck type views that Kristen Wiig's character spouted when she first appeared. Thankfully, this was soon forgotten about because of some of the film's funnier moments.
