Okay, I almost backed out of doing this post because I wondered if I was being divisive, even inflammatory, and I hope I won't find I get unfriended for this.
But things are getting out of hand with all the debates raging over the coronavirus vaccine.
First off, I'd take it, providing it is proved to be safe, I'll get that out of the way.
It seems that I can't go on social media, or occasionally speak to others, without someone turning negative about the coronavirus vaccine, even taking offense at being called an "anti-vaccer".
When I got my flu shot last month, someone asked me, "Why would you do that?" and started going on about how "these don't work" and how "this is used for mind control".
All this anti-vacc stuff just seems to be a lot of doom-mongering, and negativity that we don't really need right now, but I also disagree with some peoples' extreme views on anti-vaccers, saying things like they should be forced to have the vaccine, and even banned from the NHS (Piers Morgan tweets about 99.9% rubbish like this).
So, I'm going to take a balance view; respect peoples' rights to not want the vaccine, as long as they're not trying to impose their views on me. Let me think for myself.
That is all I want to say.
