I can't believe that tonight is our girl's last night in this house! We're moving to Chaska on Tuesday, but the girls will be staying with Chris's mom starting tomorrow so that we can get the packing finished up, move and get settled in to the townhouse before picking the girls up again. So, tonight is the last night for them in this house. Wow.

It's going to be three days without them. Kind of hard to grasp the concept of that right now. I'm sure that time will fly by since we're going to be so busy. But I'm going to miss them so much!

Abbey, my amazing little girl, has started pulling up on furniture and cruising along (walking while hanging on to furniture for support/balance.) She's only eight months old! Nissa didn't even bother to crawl until she was 11 months old. She didn't start walking alone until she was like 17 months! So, yes, having another child around the house definitely speeds up the second child's advancements in physical endeavors.

And, in an odd turn of events for me, I actually had three different job offers that I had to make a decision on. I was offered a part-time (24 hours a week) position at CostCo Optical in Eden Prairie, full-time department manager of domestics at Wal-Mart in Eden Prairie, or part-time (24+ hours a week) Pharmacy Tech at Rainbow Foods in Chaska. Each position had its pro's and its con's. CostCo - offered highest starting ($11/hour), I'd be working with a doctor I'm familiar with and free CostCo membership. Wal-Mart - keep my seniority, keep vacation, keep 10% discount. Rainbow - about 3 blocks from townhouse, union security for the job, willing to work around Chris's schedule and offering me Pharmacy Tech position! I'd actually been investigating what it would cost for me to go to school to get my Pharm Tech certificate - and now Rainbow Foods is offering me the opportunity to have on the job training rather than paying tuition!

So, after much debating, I decided to go with Rainbow. It has the lowest starting wage of the three jobs, but I'll save so much on gas expenses compared to the 13 miles I'd have to drive to get to Eden Prairie, that it's pretty even. Not to mention that I'll get a raise, per the union contract, after every 520 hours worked. So within the year I will be making more than either other position was offering. Here's an idea of just how short my commute will be:

(Also gives you and idea of how close we are to Hazeltine National Golf Course- which is the site of next year's PGA Championship! Wonder if Tiger will be back on the tour by next August?)

Anycrap. I better get some sleep. Lots of crap to do yet.
