Cleaning

Aug 01, 2005 15:10

Well today I attempted to clean. I'm not really the neat freak type...I just like organization. My closet was alreay straight....so I started with under the bed and my bath room. You know what? It's crazy all the stuff that can jumble up in our space! ( sorry about the explaination point les.)We just get so busy and caught up with life that we forget or get blinded to all the trash in our lives....or even worse we just push it aside and get blinded to the fact that it is still there and growing by the day. I took this cleaning experience as a life lesson and saw how we all , especially myself) do this with our lives. We think just because we can't see it it's not there, or if we ignore it it'll go away....well it doesn't. The problems we try to ignore or simply forget about get bigger. So I'm going to have to quit thinking that just because I can't see the mess it's not there, and I'm going to begin to make them go away... because everyobody knows that you live better with less clutter. I will do this remembering that I can't do it on my own. Christ is there ready and willing to clean out all of our messes if we simply ask. That's it.

Cleanse me with hyssop, and I will be clean; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow.
Psalm 51:6-8

"Come now, let us reason together," says the LORD. "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.
Isaiah 1:18
