The Red Sox took the series; not that it looked like there was going to be another outcome. It's time for me to crawl into bed after a night of far too much celebratory drinking.

Congrats to Mike Lowell on his Series MVP win and to Jon Lester for pitching one hell of a game.

The Red Sox swept the Angels, so it's on to the American League Championship. I'll have to see if I can get up to Boston for one of the games.
