Saying it to Sam, to Ric, to Moira, that was easy. He hadn't exactly gotten it then. Not in any way that mattered.
Now though, he had decided to try and explain some of it to the people who weren't team or medical professionals. Explain to his family what his life was and how it had shaped him into the killer they knew.
He was sitting in the forest, waiting for Alison to arrive. It was quiet. Private. Not home, so the words would not poison the safety of the sanctum.
