NPC Transmission: Nz
[it seems that, while docked, Alliance Spheres can pick up outside transmissions. in fact, one begins right now, static-filled at first, but growing steadily clearer.
a creature gradually appears. it's voice, if it can be called a voice, sounds like bark scraping against more bark]

[it looks like a mix between a very large fungus and an equally large houseplant. fuzzy russet feelers - twelve of them - move restlessly over and around a circular metal stall crowded with wares. behind it, some type of television-shaped device hums and rattles; behind its clear glass front little mounds of...something bubble and pop.
similar mounds, small enough to fit in a human hand, cover most of the stall, sitting on platters, piled in hanging mesh baskets, and filling a very large bowl front and center with a sign that reads "FREE SAMPLE." anyone standing nearby might discover that the little mounds, colored in shades of rich butterscotch, smell absolutely delicious]

- Say hello to Nz, everyone. Nz is currently occupying a little stall in one of the domes and is transmitting directly to your characters with the purpose of selling a few wares. This means that all characters can directly interact with Nz at their leisure, either over the network or in person. Nz itself isn't affected by the smoke - or is so used to it that it doesn't matter - but characters might not be so lucky!
The delicacy of choice would be the "sweets" for sale, but characters may choose to purchase the black devices as well! How do they buy them?
