[After everything they have endured, they are finally returning to their own worlds. She was at first relieved, then happy at their victory. Now it is bittersweet.

She does not belong in that world and has no right to get to know the people there. She told herself of the pain and danger of it. She knew all too well the past mistakes she needed to avoid. Her resolve had been strong in that.

From you? [he smiles and leans down to give her a sudden hug] I wouldn't have wanted anything more.

[She blinks at first in surprise, unsure initially- very few of her friends are the hugging type, after all. After a moment she returns the hug, smiling.]

Take care of yourself and your friends. [gently lets her go] Especially that Ichigo fellow of yours. Oh, and give my regards to Isshin, if you could! Just tell him the Doctor says hello. [he doubts Isshin would remember him, but there's always a chance.]
