[after visiting the engine room and receiving the instructions, Oliver saves a copy of the clues on his sphere and wastes no time in high-tailing it to the data archive. it isn't long before he runs back to the engine room, inputting in the keypad:]

[he hopes he's right. Ganymede was easy--his own knowledge of mythology got him that one, but this is the first they've heard of Phaeton. though that bit about the elder of the pair...he wonders if there's something about Ganymede and Orion that they never found out]

[swears rather loudly. that is not what he was hoping for. actually, it's much worse than even what he was expecting. Oliver may have just punched a nearby wall a few times. but once he's had a chance to get some anger out and think, he tries putting things together again. considering the first two clues clearly point to the same thing and he has a feeling he knows what the third might be referencing...]

[naturally, the Doctor bolts down to Sector 2, ignoring the ill feeling he's getting from the minor shifts in time going on around him. being on the outpost was difficult enough! but he makes it down there anyway, shoving his glasses on his face and reads the clues. he frowns. the first two are easy and...lead him to the same answer, but the numbers in the third clue--and that name! he's barely ever met any Eridanus' in his life, but why does it--and then he remembers where he's heard that name before and he smacks himself in the forehead.
