[Someone had been trying to resist it as long as possible. Though, he was out in the rain now. It was easier to breathe.]

Lyle...

[He might also look a little paler than usual.]

[Blink. Then the nonchalant grin returns, although he has noticed that Tieria seems a little off.] Hey, there, Tieria.

[He'd been listening to the other conversations, too. Your familiarity with several people and lack of shock over Neil's presence did not go unnoticed.]

You've been here before?

[Yeah... he didn't remember being here... again.]

[short nod] Yeah, stuck on the Crucible for a year with the rest of the people there. [And a pause as he realises what that means.] Hang on, don't you remember?

No. I don't. I've been told I was here several times already, but I don't remember any of them.

Geez, all over again, huh. How long have you been here this time round, then?

A few months now. Apparently, I came in with a large influx of new arrivals early on.

Implying that there haven't been that many people showing up since?

Not a lot, no... but we've had a fairly steady rotation of newcomers and people leaving.

I guess the Gate must be really unstable or something, huh... [And then something occurs to him - the last Tieria, on the Crucible, and Anew too... they'd both been from ahead of him in the home timeline, right?] Oh, I almost forgot to ask, what's the last thing you remember before coming here?

It must be. All the more reason to find it quickly.

[He considered that for a moment.]

We were about to reclaim VEDA from the Innovators. It had been Allelujah's suggestion, and we were able to retrieve the coordinates of it's location on the dark side of the moon.

[He leans back slightly.] Well, what do you know, same point in time for once.

[blink] Is that uncommon here?

The last couple of times you showed up on the Crucible, you were from completely different points to where I'd been yanked from.

Oh.

[He was curious now.]

What times?

Let's see... the first time, you were slightly behind where I was, but only by a few days or so. I think you might've been from just after Memento Mori. I think you might've shown up twice more after that, and then both times you were from my future. You never really said how far ahead that was, though.
