Late (I'm a horrible person, I know) positive seller feedback for:
bethiesanbulletfly: After being afraid these were lost forever, they finally showed up back at her house. After she sent them off a second time, they arrived with lightening speed. I really fucking love these.
messy_hair: These actually turned out to be trans violet dichro instead of trans blue, which makes me so happy I can't even explain it in words. Shipping was fast and packaging was great.
punch_and_jenntowhatmaycome x2: I wish I could make all of my GT purchases in person. Thanks so much :D
ugly_fruit: The red faceted glass came to me chipped on three of the four flares, she was very prompt to offer me a refund.
Positive buyer feedback for:
sexmeplz And now for my question, I'm not sure how to handle this situation/what kind of feedback to leave, your opinions are greatly appreciated.
I sold a pair of 1" red farscapes to
digital_skin from
this post. She sent me a message on LJ letting me know she received the plugs fine, but they were the wrong size, 15/16". I was unaware as they were sold to me by Solitude Studios as 1", I never wore them and had no reason to think they weren't 1". It was a mistake on my part not to measure them with calipers before listing them, we settled on a refund and she offered to return the plugs to me so I could try and sell them again. Everything went great, she is a really nice person and great to deal with.
However, today I received the plugs back in the mail, I took one out and measured it, and sure enough they are 24mm on the nose. I went to take the other plug out and measure it as well when I noticed it was severely chipped. The chip was in the baggie, so it must have occurred during shipping. Now, I'm pretty obsessive about packaging plugs when I mail them out, anyone who's purchased anything from me can attest to that. I always ship in a bubble mailer and usually wrap each plug individually in a baggie and more bubble wrap. The plugs were in their individual baggies that I had shipped them in, but they were just floating around in a small, thin bubble mailer.
I sent her a message letting her know I was going to ask for opinions here as I really don't know what to do. I'm waiting for a reply. I'm afraid there is no way to solve this where both of us will be happy. On one hand I feel like I am in the wrong for being upset as it was my mistake that led to this in the first place, on the other I feel like I'm getting screwed if I just let it go as the plug is completely unwearable and I will not be able to sell them.
Here's some pictures of the chip for reference:
