we are insane...
we drove into Paris.
I mean, DROVE INTO PARIS. On the A6, on the Boulevard Periphatique, thru the flea market to Rue de Clichy, to our apt off Rue Lepic. And we found parking!
I may never leave this flat. It has a TV with cable, coffee and wine in the fridge, and a CABLE MODEM and unlimited access to the internet via a laptop with an american keyboard. So I'll update this week, probably daily.
The Gard (as in Pont du) is a wonderful place. It is the next departement west of the Provincal area, much greener, much less touristed. People are incredibly friendly, food is great, places to visit. We found that the TGV train from Avignon was more expensive than our travelling companions wanted to spend, so the decision was taken to drive north.
Ah, there is food ready. more later!
