I love Flickr. Out of sheer boredom I explore the site and come upon this. I'll spare everyone the fan girl moment and just say what a nice picture.
I don't post much because generally I really have nothing much to say. However, Friday was my birthday. It was actually one of the best birthdays that I have had in a long time. I booked my trip to San Francisco in October. Four days. I cannot wait. My first big girl trip. It's sad really, I'm 31 and this is the first trip I am taking alone. I know 19 year olds that have toured Europe already. Oh well, better late than never right?
Along with my SF trip I bought myself a new digital camera. I got a Fujifilm Finepix F470. It's not top of the line but it came out this year and it's 6.3 mp with an optical zoom. My old camera was a Kodak 5.0 mp with a digital zoom. Hopefully I will get the opportunity to take some pictures soon.
Since livejournal is really a journal of sorts I thought for a while I might post a favorite Flickr photo a day. Maybe the inspiration will get me to take my own photographs.
btw, check out "The Libertine" with Johnny Depp. It is a great movie.
