Can it be???
Ok ok, I am updating at the request of people. I know it has been a loooongtime since my last confession..urr... I mean update. So, what has gone on since I last wrote? Well I can't cover everything but how a about a nutshell version? Cool. Well, I am back in school finally. After years of pondering education, I have jumped into the alligator pit and swam like hell. The need for me to have a different job has become rather apparent. I don't like what I do anymore, I love the clients but I am in a dead end situation that I need to get out of. I want be in a job that keeps my interest and challenges me.
Just what is the ol Gatorman in college for? Right now, I am working on my AA through Western International University. This is an on line course. For those of you that think on line schooling is a breeze, think again. This shit is hard. It does not help that I have been out of school for 21 years and have a bad case of ADHD. Today I started on medication for is so we will see how it goes. Anyway, after I complete my AA I will transfer over to the University of Phoenix and pursue my BS in criminal justice administration, no I do not want to be a lawyer, this is a fancy way of saying, I am going to study law enforcement. What I hope to do in the end is do crime scene investigation. I have lots of experience digging through the clients crap after they abandon it, so I can say I am good at that aspect. Since I realize that this time in my life I will not be a cop, I still want to be involved. There are many different jobs in law enforcement and I want very much to be a part of a team that makes a difference.
As for how I am doing in school, I know I am jumping around, I thought I would tank and not do very well. I just finished my first semester with and A in each class!!! I never ever thought this would be possible, but I am doing it. Monday the new semester began and I have some nerves around it. I know I'll do well I just have to keep telling myself that I will be just fine.
Another thing I am doing, well you will have to go and check out this site. www.cafepress.com/foryou This site will be helping pay for some of my schooling and of course bill. Please pass this address on to as many people you can think of. This site is still in it's babyhood and I'll be adding more to it.
I am still with Drew. We have four years coming up in January!!! WOW, whod a thunkt it? Our relationship is going well and growing by the day. He is a good guy to have in my life. I think I should keep him around for a few more minutes :)
