this is awful

So my sister is a preschool teacher and for her Christmas presents for the parents this year she made some thing and took pictures of each child on my mom's camera to put with it. So the other day my mom printed out the pictures of all of the kids. This morning my sister calls and says that we forgot to print out two. Her description for the two boys that she needed pictures for were "one boy has a red sweatshirt on with a soccer ball on the front and the other boy looks like he has Down Syndrome." So my mom and I are sitting here trying to figure out which one this second boy is. I feel awful, as a future special ed. teacher sitting here trying to figure out which child looks like he has down syndrome. As we're doing this my mom and I are looking at each other like all these children look pretty normal, but we see two that look like they may or may not have it. Then I said that maybe we should just print out all of the ones that look like they might, but then my sister calls back and asks if we figured it out and so we tell her that none of the chidren look like that and she says, "Oh no, you'd definitely be able to tell." My goodness, I feel just awful right now. Although the situation was semi-funny, I can't believe that my sister just described a child as looking like they have Down Syndrome. She is getting coal this year.
