Ugh Seriously Bones WTF?!
I'm kind of surpised Zach was the apprentice, but not really. I started thinking the other day that even though Eric had been asked if he was Gormagon and he said no, but no one had asked him if he was the apprentice. And I totally knew Zach was gonna be something when he argued with Hodgins about adding the monamer.
Things I liked:
1. Brennan decking Booth. That was awesome.
2. Brennan kissing Zach at the hospital on the forehead AND when she leans her head on his when she and Booth come to Zach knowing he's the apprentice.
3. Brennan telling Sweets off. God, he so had it coming.
4. I actually really enjoyed the Booth/Brennan bathroom scene. She totally was peeking and I thought she was definitely trying to make small talk about the Green Lantern comic he was reading when he sat back down so she could look a little more.
5. Angela telling Brennan she needed her there at the funeral with her. Michaela totally made me cry.
6. Tamara Taylor was RIDICULOUSLY AWESOME this whole ep. Her reaction at the hospital, her crying at the end. I know people hate Cam, but I really like her character. Tamara has made that character amazing.
7. The end bit with them realizing all of Zach's most prized possessions were things they gave him.
Things I didn't like:
1. The end felt super rushed. This is what happens with the strike and them having to make a 2 part finale into one episode.
2. ZACH BEING THE APPRENTICE. I feel so cheated. I so hope they look at what happened to him in Iraq, maybe that will give us some clue why he was able to rationalize this. And I know Zach is uber-rational and I can kind of see how he was able to decide this was ok, but something definitely happened to him there to make him vulnerable enough to succumb to this.
3. I wanted more resolution to Booth getting shot. Hopefully that gets delved into with Brennan next season.
Oh and Hodgins totally knew Zach had something to do with Gormagon, that is why he kept hitting the pain med button to get him to shut up.
