Well I guess it's completely official. I'm a complete gator now. Overall, preview was not to terrible. It was nice getting to walk around the campus and get more oriented with my surroundings. I also found out my roommates for summer, although I haven't had the chance to talk to any of them.
I got a chance to visit a room @ Lakeside (where I am for the summer). Let's just say it is absolutely amazing. It's broken into pods of 4 rooms, 4 people to a room. Each pod usually consists of 2 female and 2 male rooms. Walking into an apartment, the first thing noticeable is how CLEAN it was. Full walk in kitchen with a bar/2-stools, a living area with a couch and a love seat, two full bathrooms, and each of the 4 people has their own individual bedroom that is big enough to live in. I'm excited about it.
As for classes, For the Summer I am taking
- MUL2010 (Intro to Music Literature)
- CPO2001 (Comparative Politics)
For fall I have:
- CGS2351 (Problem Solving Using Computers)
- ECO2013 (Macroeconomics)
- SLS1102 (Warrington Welcome aka First Year Business Student)
- AMH2010 (United States to 1877)
- GEO2200 (Physical Geography)
For those kids who havent gone to preview yet, start looking at classes before you go. If you know what you want to take, it expediates the process for you. Also, plan to have a couple backup classes. Things just fill up fast.
Anyway, I'm ready to go. Go Gators.
