Notre Dame Rocks!
I made it! Carrying my suitcases did prove to be a pain in the butt but luckly I met at guy, Joe, on the bus who showed me where my dorm room was so I didn't have to wander about looking for it. And then I got into my room and found out that the girl living across from me is Joe's girlfriend. So we went and met up with some of their friends and hung out, and borrowed some other guys car to go to dinner and shopping. Then we went into the physics building's lecture hall and watched Kill Bill on the big projector. You all wouldn't believe how cool these people are (even without air conditioning, Katie). I quoted Family Guy and they all knew exactly what I was talking about. I showed them Katie's photoshopped picture of Trogdor and Joe tells me he has the Trogdor shirt. It's freaky!
The weather here is pretty nice right now, but last night I was freezing. I had to get up and put on my robe and a sweatshirt over my pj's and I was still cold.
My roommate still isn't here, but Bridget's (Joe's gf) roommate arrived this morning and she's really nice too. We were all playing this game she brought called "Set" this morning. So I spend this morning unpacking. It actually didn't take long at all. The dorms here are really nice. I'm supposed to be in a double but its not your normal double. There are basically two separate rooms with a door frame connecting them, no door. We share a sink, but it's in my roommates room so that's kinda odd. I took some pictures of my room but I haven't figured out how to put them up here yet.
I don't really have anything to do until tomorrow morning so I guess I'll spend today studying and checking out the campus. I still haven't figured out what I'm going to do for food, but Joe says I can steal his friend's frig for the summer :) That could work out pretty well.
