Ughhhh. The only reason why I hate having to memorise an entire speech in one day (even though I can do it) is because it wrecks my voice. *Sucks on a throat lozenge.*
The way I remember things best is through hearing them-- I can remember scenes from movies line for line, and when I'm in an Ancient History exam, I'll always hear Mrs. Kerr's voice telling me such and such a thing that I have to write down.
I've never been able to memorize things by just reading them. I have to read them out aloud so that my ears can hear my voice saying the words, think about them, maybe discuss them, and then in the case of speeches: read them aloud again repetetively paragraph by paragraph until I've got it.
Owww throat is gravelly xD;. THIS IS WHY YOU SHOULDN'T PROCRASTINATE, CASSIE.
Ugh. How many more oral assessments to go this year? :x.
