Long Time
So I guess it has been quite some time since I have posted. I have been very busy at work traveling for client conferences. Just got back from Tampa, Florida. It was a pleasant enough place but reminded me as to why I would never choose to live in Florida. Too damn hot and humid. That would drive me crazy. Ocean City, MD for another conference June 7-8 which is entertaining, such a tacky place that it is but amusing nevertheless. Perhaps I will try to get some time on the beach.
What I am really looking forward to is my trip to New Mexico the end of June. I am going backpacking with my brother, sister and nephews up to Mora Flats, one of my favorite short hikes up in the Pecos area. This is my dad's "second annual last backing trip" but sadly this one is in memory of him since his passing at the end of this past January. It will be difficult emotionally but an important and healthy thing to do.
After that guess I will be hanging around DC for most of the Summer with no trips planned until Ottowa in early October for another client.
