As usual, I traveled home to Santa fe for Christmas. I really miss living in the Southwest. People are so much more laid back. Everyone in DC has attitude and self importance. Not to mention that people don't acknowledge each other on the streets. Just walking down the street in Santa fe I noticed that almost every other person said hello to me. Anyhow, enough about that. I went skiing up at the Santa fe Ski Basin and had a blast. I got to try out my new K2 skis along with my new Technica Diablo boots. Wow! They were awesome. I skiied both high speed cruisers and some great mogul runs, six and a half hours with only a quick lunch break. We also got three feet of snow downtown, unfortunately it was after I had already gone skiing so I didn't get to enjoy the fresh powder. I will hope to do that when I go to Mad River Glen, Vermont. I hope to do that sometime in late January or early February.
So, I loved seeing my mom and my two brothers. My sister stayed in Utah with her family and my dad and his wife and son traveled to North Carolina to visit her parents. I got to see him briefly on my last day when they returned.
