The Last Verse
So yeah I'm dragging it out lol, but I just thought I'd make a little bit more... colorful last post now that I've canceled content IDs, performed my final log out and am uninstalling FFXI for good as we speak.
The Last Verse is seemingly the end of the line for Zilart and Promathia missions. Who knows if there'll be a continuation to that sooner or later. As for me, this is definitely the end of the line. I'm just about to graduate college and start my life as a working academic, I have a serious relationship I see lasting the whole way, and I have tons of books and games and other things I haven't been able to commit to thanks to FFXI. So, I have many things going on so I won't be back like most who quit. I quit for the right reasons.
I'd like to make a little shoutout to the people I've known over the years, including people who are long gone and wouldn't ever read this.
Ryuujin - The person who made me start FFXI to begin with and gave me a world pass to Ragnarok. I believe he said he was in a LS called LiberiFatali before he quit in spring 2005.
Devilpup - You tutored my subless WAR10 3½ years ago and you still haven't got a lvl75 job. Get it over with already dude! lol
Lucienne, Vigil, Nephthys - Three fellow countrymen and good friends I met within weeks of starting playing, and they stuck around in thick and thin for many years. Lucie and Vig quit only a few months ago, but Neph is still going at it, and I wish you good luck. Lucie and Vig can diaf because they play WoW. :p
Acen, Dragulia, Ithaqua, Kenni, Prophet, Kamytaru, Beramode, Izam, Ashlar, Ailcear and many others I can barely remember from the very old Crableague days.
Cowboyday, Shinock, Fasine, Merco - You know I love you guys, we go way back and we had some really good times together doing Promyvions and set parties and what not together. It was great and I already miss the good old days.
Tachys, Leonadis, Arnavel, Markos, Trihouse, Xplicitone, Foxx, Dake, Wamoo, Patswin, Inx, Xavius, Ebberon and many others from TriNova. Those might have been the most fun of my HNM days... when everything was new and exciting, even dynamis lol.
Falcoo - A bright personality from a dark chapter.
Rinzles, Malevolense - Good luck to you both.
Ensane, Teaira, Jezmund, Daria, Bbeeker, Milliardo, Marevil, Phatmoe, Monsieur and many others I'm forgetting from the Zenmetsu days. When I joined, things were really good thanks to you guys.
Liirian, Hoseph, Theraven, Kongming, Spook, Silphatos, Hitokiri, Rurousha, Crosis, Mayari and other past and present members of Liirian's various teams. We really did get lots of stuff done and doing stuff with you guys was among the most fun I had. Right to the very end.
Lilyanne, Kirei, Delicieux - My angels, you can call me Charlie ;) I'll miss you girls.
Dangerousdj, Yondaime, Dani, Akucaen, Trichocyst, Tanizen, Blitzball, Takioni and other less active members of the salvage set: We gave it a good run guys and finished a few pieces... Too bad about the luck, salvage sucks what can I say :/
And here's to all the other people I've forgot to mention that I interacted with over these years. I'm sorry for everyone I've crossed over the years, I've been elitist, I've been egoistic at times and I've been a good many things at several times. And to everyone that has offered me praise and sent me wellwishes. Thank you!
So now I have nothing left but to say my over and out. Besides checking in for a few days here, I am retiring this LJ as well.
