Progress progress!
I've been keeping pretty much busy over the last couple of weeks, been doing Ashu talif with my set, and we had a lucky drop with Cerberus Hide not too long ago, apart from that I now have all 3 pieces of gear you can obtain from it, that is Matron's knife, Barb. Moufles and Barb. Zerehs. The latter one I really love because of it's use across several jobs, served as haste and ws gear for DRG, WS gear for WAR (yeah I know it's not as good as af2 legs but this way I can keep it in storage :D ), and Chakra gear for MNK.
Over the last few weeks we've also managed to finally kick off the Salvage and Limbus effort through the new linkshell ZenmetsuRemnants, made up partly from old Zenmetsu veterans, but also from a few friends of old members. Salvage so far has gone all right, it takes some practise to get a whole new crew organized, but I think we show alot of promise to be able to do everything we want. So far we've only done Silver Seas a couple of times, but not had the desired drops from Powderkeg or Gyro gears yet... big surprise.
We've made more progress in Limbus then, we finished our first Omega pop and will have 2 more pops ready within 3 weeks. For now we don't have the manpower to do Ultima, but we are in fact looking for members so if you are reading this and are interested in limbus (and preferably have a well equipped tank, BLM or support job), please send me a buzz in game ;)
Either way, we did our first Omega yesterday, 10 manning it, and while I was a bit concerned about the setup seeing as we lacked WHMs entirely and had a couple of members completely fresh on Omega, it went *really* well, and pulled through without any major crisis and not a single death. It was easily my smoothest Omega ever, and I felt really proud of our team. Some picies:
