i'll scale out this ocean just for you, just to pretend i know where you are. amongst the storms and sunsets our legs can't keep us tied down, the wind is always deciding to move us around and it's keeping us reaching out to one distance closer to another. you keep me guessing to why i keep searching along these cliff edges just to find you, i'm falling below this surface we're trying to keep our thoughts high on. we'll keep these troubled decks on board incase they serve some sort of purpose, incase they'll make the foundations for something so perfect. we'll steer past the ongoing wars between our neighbours, we'll stay out of their way before we get too involved in a fight which we can't defend for ourselves. the oceans all that guards us so please don't knock our barrier down. we'll all drown at the bottom of it all anyway. every tightening muscle keeps me at bay, even when you're ship is to sea i'm here with my feet on something more solid than the ground i wish we were walking on. something which i thought was too far gone to ever rise again. somehow luck strikes when you least expect it. and risks are made which you feel will end in regrets, sometimes there's hope in every month which goes past. i always though i was sailing on the wrong boat and i kept that piece with me until the end. so lets travel back to where we last left off and finish what was meant to happen. before we all got lost along the way.
