Sometimes you just gotta step on a mushroom
Darko got traded finally, to Orlando at that. Home of Grant Hill ( who owns...if only he could stay unhurted), and now Mr. Darko.
Valentine's Day wasn't more depressing than any other day, which of course, implies that most days are depressing. But hey, what would an update be without some kinda hint of the underpass?
I ended up reformating my hard drive and reinstalling Windows on my first/only pc now. I kinda like only having like, 4 programs and 0 pop-ups. So....that means that I returned the PC i bought a few weeks ago, which makes the 2nd returned computer in the span of a few months.
Basketball sucked. I pretty much died after playing for 10 min. And not 10 min on clock time, but 10 min in real life time ( prolly like, 5 min clock time). So...yeah, that was disheartening. Not much to do but complain about everything. Oh look, i'm doing that now. What a surprise.
Mirrormask was good. Better than Dark Crystal ( but what isnt'?) but not close to Labyrinth. For reference, Mirrormask was made by the same company that did the previously mentioned movies. It was very...artistic though, and the creative aspects were appreciated. Didn't have as many memorable scenes or characters like Labyrinth did. Still cool. Also saw Doom, Zathura, Flight Plan....all three were ho-hum. Doom had the highest rockage potential but alas it was all squandered on stupidness. I tried to rewatch Dawn of the Dead remake today but it's too gorey. It's hard liking zombies and not liking gore...those two usually go together.
General disappointment, that's pretty much it.
