W.O.W. what a hassle

yes W.O.W. not the wow we sometimes think of... World of War Craft my friends created for me an immense hassle last night ugggggg. So my nephew has been staying with us for the past few days. His mother decided that yesterday was a nice day to surprise him with a present, so she bought for him WOW. And what happened the minute he got it in his hands... "Uncle Aaron please can I install this on your computer to see what it is like... That is all I just want to see what it is like before I go home." So Being the sucker that I am I took the disks to my ancient computer (2001 is when I gave it life) and deleted a bunch of junk and installed the beast. Not only did it take way too long to install, but then there were the patches. 6 #$## patches all about 400 megs had to be downloaded to my pc to make the dumb game work. By the second patch he had gone to bed, I made a foolish mistake of promising him that he could play the game in the morning. I spent the rest of the night downloading and installing patches.

But I guess it was all worth it this morning after getting 2 hours of sleep to see the kids eyes sparkle as the awesome graphics invaded his brain and turned him into a mindless computer game zombie... I miss those days, it was simpler when you could loose your self in a game... now every time I try to play something real life comes knocking on the door and I have to answer.
