Mix of good and bad news
first the good BYU kicked Oregon's ASS!!! it was almost a shut out in the LV bowl and I am so proud of my Cougs.
now bad news...
First my school takes tests different from other schools, we have a testing centrer where there are proctors and all different subjects and tests are in one room together. I like the system but it leads to the dreaded Testing Center Gestapo!!! I had just started my Managerial Economics final and the proctor came up and took my calculator away and said that it was not approved for that test. Now I will be damned if I have not used that calculator for all of my finace class finals for the past 2 years. And to boot I had used the same calculator on the previous 2 midterms without any hitches. But this girl must have been on some aweful power trip and came and took my calculator. Once you enter the testing center you cant leave, so I could not go out and buy a cheapy calculator or something so I was forced to complete the final without a CALCULATOR.... that would be like us sending a Marine to Iraq with a piece of toast, naked and a big circle painted on his chest......needless to say the stressometer hit an all time high today. The test should have taken about 1.5 hours it took me over 4 hours to complete. I was however pleased to see that I could figure out alot of the problems without a calculator... it just took allot of time.... Can you take the square root of 6.343 and get in the ball park withoug a calculator... and within the ball park I mean to the nearest 10th... yea... now that is fun
