LaDiablo from FictionAlley, hurr. (don't bother looking it up--I'm one of those horrid sorts who never reviews until the end, and then has nothing to really say.)
I am.... ecstatic would be a good word... that you're still writing this. I haven't really been into the fanfiction scene in years and years, so finding brilliant new stories when I decide to pop up is a rare treat. Blood Magic drew me in (someone had it listed as a favorite Severitus challenge), so I perused your other works. Admittedly, I'm not so much a fan of Snake and Lion as I was of Blood Magic; it took several chapters to get anywhere near as developed and intriguing as Blood Magic is (I just read it last week or the one before and already want to work through it again). However, the smut is positively enthralling, your character relations are flawless, and your writing style is just too good to miss out on. Also, the plot is definitely much thicker in the sequel, nice and convoluted with plans for the Uncommon Room, the pesky nature of Dumbledore, the new DADA professor with connections to the Weasleys, the scheming of mass Slytherine, and the potential of the two new classes. I'd like to see more with Susara, which you seem to have loosely alluded to, but more as a valid character than as a set of side prop. Hedwig, too, considering she's Harry's familiar, though I'm not entirely certain what that entitles. But once you delve into the Divination stuff with Ron, I doubt I'll have the presence of mind to consider that tangent much ^__^.

Anywho. This NC-17 stuff you alluded to... Is that something I'll need an LJ account to view? I might have one wrinkled up and tossed in the corner of a dark closet somewhere, but I don't want to have to hunt it down if unnecessary. I'm one of those lazy haphazard sorts of hunters, you know ;].

Happy writing to you! And a merry Samhain ^__^.

Happy Samhain to you too! I'm resting my back and feet after much walking around in boots and a leather jerkin. Tomorrow I'll do more meditative things.

If you look at the index post for my fic, the link for Teamwork there is for all chapters to date and does not require an account.

I'd written some novel-length original fic before Snakes and Lions, but it was my first novel-length fanfic, and I wrote it in about three months. Blood Magic was much better planned and plotted, and I agree that it's a better piece. ("Companion animals are familiars" was a Blood Magic detail, BTW; I'm not sure it applies to the S&L universe. If S&L Harry has a familiar, it's Susara. I did use a lot of the same magic theory in both, though.)

Thank you for the note! It's always nice to know that people are enjoying my fics. :-)
