Just got back from tour of Grand Central Station given by one of the architects from the office that worked on it. So cool, behind the scenes stuff and we even got to walk in the massive windows (theres corridors in there).
Daz and Saz arrive tomorrow evening. Cant believe it, Ive been waiting for them for months :) Bit worried about work clashing while they're over here. I have to work every Friday I can get and do essay work in the library on Saturdays.
Greenpeace is the most evil organisation ever. They fired Sarah and Fleachta the other day for no good reason and no warning. Labout law here says that an employer can fire any member of staff for no reason with no notice. When I tell them thats not the way it is in Europe they're positively shocked - "What?! Next you'll be allowing your workers to eat, own property and take paid leave!". They dont seem to be too upset, more angry at the bullshit. So Sarah went back in yesterday to excercise her right to reply which I seriously respect her for.
Magnus just made popcorn for the whole office and we all got little cups to bring it to our desks. I could so get used to this.
