Aw Sid, what a pretty courtship. Love the Dorothy reference right at the beginning, getting all of it out on the table, and the slow progression of appreciated company to really noticing a person and having a friendship matter and deepen.

Very sweet. I kind of love these two together.

Thank you Minxy! My first Paul fic! I had a wonderful time doing the research for this - watching the Paul episodes and watching him interact with Daniel. He's a total sweetheart, and it's only right that Daniel came to realize that. :-)

Wheee! Paul/Daniel! There really needs to be more of it, and I really enjoyed how you took my itty-bitty drabble and built an entire story out of it. Such great moments between them: the shoulder squeezes, the handkerchief-ing, etc. You could totally see the attraction building.

And I love the Dorothy bit at the very beginning. Perfect Daniel with his sarcasm and Paul with his initial confusion. Heh heh.

Hi there!

I'm happy and relieved that you like it! I figured there had to be a backstory for your drabble - Daniel's feelings had to come from somewhere, something. So I hauled out my DVDs and examined the evidence. ;-) And I figured out that I didn't have to invent anything outside of canon; just fill in a few blanks. Because Paul was right there beside Daniel exactly when Daniel needed a friend in the worst way. And that leads to love in all the best romance novels!

I've always liked Paul and I was glad to get the opportunity to write him. You're right - there needs to be much more Paul/Daniel!

I'm so glad you enjoyed it! I always read any Paul fic I run across, but I've never considered writing any until this remix. It was such a pleasure to watch the episodes I used in the story and really study his character. I'm really feeling the Paul love! :-)
